I have written a list of goals I wish to accomplish in the New Year. This list encompasses things I've been thinking about,wanting to do, and things I want to keep going. Perhaps I learned it from my mother (who is forever making lists/writing things out) but I believe in jointing everything down, it makes thoughts, goals, opinions, and emotions become real. Happy New Year! I love you all and wish you the best in 2009.

New Work
These images are part of a on going series i've been working on called The Genetic Condition. It is a documentary photo project which tells the story of my older brother Coley who has a genetic disorder called Fragile X Syndrome. Moving Back
In two weeks time I will be heading back to Chicago, the city of grey lake water, endless sidewalks, rough and tough winters, and old fashion mid-west charm. My plans for moving to the capital of Texas have been put on hold, Austin will have to wait for now. The feeling in the air is bittersweet, "at least you tried" my mother said. All I can do is keep trying, trying to figure my out my path, along with facing some detours, twists and turns.
