I ran today

Hello out there, its been some time since i've visited this blog world. Thanks to Molly D I have made an over due apperance. Today I ran my first 5k run....I think my time was 30 min. I particpated in the annual Women's 5k run put on every year by fleet feet. It was a wonderful feeling to be outdoors in the bright morning sun surrounded by summer in Chicago. The endless cheers from people on the sidelines helped pull me through.....and the assistance of my ipod (not gonna lie). Photos to come. 

Civic Opera House + Andrew Bird

Nick and I went to see Andrew Bird and his three piece band play at the Civic Opera House. Just beautiful!

Rest In peace Andrew Bird's Violin.....he dropped it on stage while playing! Insert sad face.
